Our east coast residency begins with a deep dive into the work of comedy nerd favorite Edgar Wright with cross-stitch artist Mackenzie Mollo (@broidrage on the 'grams). We cover everything from Spaced to the surprisingly controversial Baby Driver while going mad with jet lag, and Mackenzie tells us her super not embarrassing story about meeting Edgar Wright in a town in New York we've never heard of before or since. It might very well be her Edgar Wright Brigadoon, aka Edgadoon. That's a bad joke, so I'm'a stop while I'm ahead.

We're back from our summer break with a VERY intense conversation about the Nicktoons classic Hey Arnold! with the hilarious and wonderful Jas Sams (@jas_sams). I honestly had no idea Hey Arnold! has this passionate a fanbase, and that the new Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie has such a crazy history. There's also a bunch of other bullshit, but we recorded this a few weeks ago and I can't remember any specifics. Assume Brandon makes some dumb jokes and Beth makes fun of him for it. Ya' know, the usual.

Things get delightfully and deceivingly filthy as Mary Anna King (author of Bastards) joins us to discuss The Great British Bake Off! Let's be honest, though: It's mostly just talk about how Paul Hollywood might be our biggest problematic fave so far.
